Reviews and Ratings
I had a wonderful stay at the Mövenpick Resort in Soma Bay, where the service was exceptional, and the atmosphere felt truly welcoming. The hotel boasts a beautiful private beach and a fantastic pool area, making it easy to relax and enjoy the sun. However, the dining options occasionally felt repetitive, and one of my rooms had some cleanliness issues. Despite this, I would definitely recommend it for a great getaway.
My stay at Mövenpick Soma Bay started off rocky due to multiple room issues, including cleanliness and a leaking bathroom, which made it uncomfortable. However, the staff were genuinely wonderful and went out of their way to assist, even sending snacks to our room. The location is nice and quiet, perfect for a relaxing getaway, but the dining options were a bit repetitive and could use more variety. While the hotel has a lovely ambiance, it does feel like it needs a bit of a refresh in terms of facilities.
I had a mixed experience at the hotel. On one hand, the staff was friendly and the overall atmosphere was great for relaxation. On the other hand, I faced several issues with room cleanliness and maintenance. The dining options were decent but could get repetitive after a few days. Overall, it was a good stay, but with some room for improvement.
The hotel has its highlights, including a spacious layout and nice pool area. However, the food quality leaves much to be desired, especially with the all-inclusive option. The distance from Hurghada city might be inconvenient for those wanting to explore more. Staff members are friendly, particularly in the Italian and oriental restaurants, but some issues with the check-in process and room conditions were frustrating.
